RAISE Suite

Fair data from collection to exploitation — FAIR-by-design automation for the full research data lifecycle

RAISE Suite is the follow-up to the RAISE project, extending the “algorithm to the data” paradigm into a fully FAIR-by-design infrastructure that automates the entire research data lifecycle — from field collection through analysis and exploitation.

Where RAISE established the distributed crowdsourced processing network, RAISE Suite removes the remaining Open Science adoption barriers by automating FAIR compliance and data management planning at the source. The project delivers:

  • a Machine Actionable DMP (ma-DMP) — a configurable blueprint that orchestrates data lifecycle management from planning to archiving,
  • the RAISE Suite SDK — developer tools that embed FAIR principles directly into data collection instruments,
  • RAI Streaming Nodes (RSN) — Kafka-based engines for real-time data preparation, pseudoanonymisation, and secure streaming, and
  • RAI Certified Nodes (RCN) — a distributed network for secure dataset storage enabling algorithm-to-data processing.

The infrastructure is validated across five real-life domains: health (quality-of-life monitoring for cancer survivors and stroke patients), mobility (climate-neutral urban transport), forestry (soil and ecosystem monitoring via drone and sensor data), oceans (essential ocean variable monitoring), and food waste (behavioural coaching in campus dining).
